Girls\u2019 Basketball<\/h2>\n

John Stark 63, Pembroke 57<\/p>\n

Key players: John Stark<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Eleanor Girardet (13 points), Abby Duclos (13 points),\u00a0Avery Geaumont (12 points), Izabel Korbet (12 points);\u00a0Pembroke <\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Annelise Dexter (34 points),\u00a0Kaitlin Arenella (10 points)<\/p>\n

Highlights: The Generals were down by six at halftime (39-33) and five going into the fourth, but Stark had a strong final quarter and went 9-for-10 from the line down the stretch, securing the No. 4 seed for next week\u2019s Division II tournament.<\/p>\n

Coe-Brown 56, Milford 51<\/p>\n

Key players: Coe-Brown <\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Hannah Meehan (20 points), Kalina Kasprzak (15 points),\u00a0Emma Lapierre (13 points)<\/p>\n

Highlights: Milford controlled the first half, but the Bears\u00a0stayed in striking distance, trailing 29-24 at halftime. Coe-Brown was down 43-38 entering the fourth quarter, but the Bears went on an 18-8 run to secure the win. Coe-Brown will be the No. 10 seed for the Division II postseason tournament.<\/p>\n

Highlights: The Generals played a solid first half but Pembroke\u2019s offense was too much and pulled away in the second half on Stark\u2019s senior night. The Spartans will be the No. 3 seed for the Division II tournament. John Stark\u2019s season ends, but the Generals improved significantly over last year\u2019s 1-17 team.<\/p>\n

Coaches\u2019 quotes: \u00a0\u201cI am very pleased with the team\u2019s effort and work ethic all season long, and that hard work paid off. Highlights: Craigue tied the game 1-1 in the second period, but the Blackbirds scored the game winner on a power play with six minutes left. Concord couldn\u2019t find the game-tying goal despite outshooting Keene 34-14.<\/p>\n
