Anyone expect these figures to go down? And what\u2019s next on the list? Apparently, many of our elected officials think that money grows on trees. Those of us who know otherwise must prioritize maintenance, renovation, and additions to our homes, knowing full well that we can\u2019t afford to have the best of everything and have it all at once.<\/p>\n
Many people in this city are struggling to pay for their taxes, rent, heat, groceries, healthcare: not luxuries. A good start to reining in the spendthrifts is to demand that the school board rescind its misguided vote to build a $176 million dollar middle school at Broken Ground.
