Why not rent a fleet of Concord Coaches with teams of six white horses to personally pick up town residents and bring them to the meeting? <\/p>\n
We would then know that we live in the bygone era when Black men were three-fifths human and women could not vote. These archaic and romantic ideas about town meeting fall apart entirely with this singular realization: if you\u2019re not present at the meeting, you don\u2019t count and we don\u2019t care that you don\u2019t count because we like our traditions best of all.
