The welcome sight of snow following Sunday\u2019s storm might be short-lived.<\/p>\n

Another storm due to arrive Tuesday night is forecast to start as snow but move over to rain as it warms on Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to reach 49 degrees in Concord on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.\u00a0<\/p>\n

About two to four inches of snow is expected to fall in and around Concord Tuesday night and Wednesday morning before the precipitation turns to rain. High winds are expected Wednesday along with a flood watch.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The North Country and higher elevations are expected to see considerably more snow \u2013\u00a0up to a foot in places \u2013\u00a0before it turns over to rain, according to the weather service.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This weekend\u2019s storm, which left more than six inches of light fluffy snow, brought a boost to winter activities this weekend. The next one has emergency officials and utility crews on alert.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ground will be heavily saturated, and that combined with the forecasted strong winds can bring down trees and limbs onto power lines and equipment, causing outages,\u201d said Eversource New Hampshire President of Electric Operations Doug Foley in a statement. \u201cThis storm has a similar profile to the one we had three weeks ago that caused significant tree damage and outages, but this time we also have roadside snow piles that complicate the work for our crews.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
