Seems apparent that we are at war with the Houthis of Yemen. Biden authorized military action without Congressional approval. Protecting the cargo ships in the Red Sea is a global problem. None of our allies will join us in this! That says a lot. Putting the Eisenhower aircraft carrier there sends a bad signal. Seems we have been a warring nation erroneously overstepping our bounds when there was not a cause or it wasn’t our business. Take the wars in Iraq, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and being the only nation dropping the atomic bomb on two civilian areas. It sickens me to think of this. I believed the U.S. was a peace-loving nation. We need to take a long look at ourselves and reform.
The U.S. has backed Israel. When it became obvious their military tactics were not careful strategically leaving two million Palestinians in inhuman situations, it’s time to back out. No more weapons or money for Israel. We must no longer support Netanyahu. He hasn’t reduced military actions. He says he’ll go after Hamas wherever they are, as he’s done in Lebanon, possibly expanding the war. We don’t need to be involved. The Taiwan-China situation is more dangerous with the new Taiwanese leader claiming Taiwan is a sovereign nation signaling unwillingness to negotiate. China replied with a threatening comment. Biden says we will support Taiwan militarily if China attacks Taiwan. This abandons the U.S. neutrality policy of “strategic ambiguity,” making a war more likely and giving us no choice.
