Young Chris has been acting like the characteristic adolescent with a little money burning a hole in his pocket. Now Chris is looking for a place to spend it. Seems he’s found the right place after checking out a number of options. Texas is it! Playing with Abbott and Paxton. A&P is litigating up a storm protecting the Southern border from the Black and Brown peril. Chris can be ‘part of the action’ for a meager $800,000+ of our tax dollars. I suppose $800,000+ tax dollars to keep 15 or so soldiers on duty for a few months will lower the heat in young Chris’ pocket. Meanwhile, local property taxes continue to rise, housing costs go up, to say nothing of rent and food costs.
Now we hear that young Jeb has about $1.4 million, our tax dollars, jingling in his pockets. But Jeb’s pocket change is for a local threat to our home turf. The impending invasion from the Black and Brown peril massed to the North: yes, Canada. Statistics show that 21 have recently entered New Hampshire illegally. Young Jeb figures once the $1.4M security unit is in place, all 21 or so will be apprehended at this bargain price. Please do the math and check out the deal. Spending these tax dollars wisely in New Hampshire for the benefit of all New Hampshire residents could improve our public services. These adolescent spending priorities need to be reined in by the adults in the room.
