The response by Senator Katie Britt was, typically, full of misstatements, half truths, and yes, lies (as is typical of the former president). For instance, she stated: “Under Biden’s administration, families are worse off. Our communities are less safe, and our country is less secure.” However, The Washington Post reports: “Employers have created more than 14 million jobs during the Biden administration, with a monthly average of more than 400,000 positions.” “Gross domestic product, a measure of all of the goods and services produced in the country, has grown about 22 percent since Biden took office. That’s compared with a 14 percent uptick during Trump’s presidency.”
So, I say: Britt was wrong in that statement. She foolishly blames Biden for what Mexican cartels did to a young woman. Is this the Republican’s agenda, blame the president for cartel action? And, didn’t Trump just kill a Senate bill: “Joe Manchin-The retiring senator blamed Trump for the demise of a border deal.” I could go on, but you can clearly see that the Republican response was typically wrong, like a Trump statement, and a real waste of time.
